Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week at Instant Home

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week (9 – 15 February 2026), we’ve been reflecting on what makes the Instant Home team so special. While we are known for our 25 years of providing premium furniture rental and seamless relocations, the real “engine room” of our success is the people behind the business.

Over the years, we have been proud to support seven apprentices, providing them with the hands-on experience, qualifications, and mentorship they need to thrive in the logistics and service industry.

This week, we wanted to shine a spotlight on two members of our team who represent the past, present, and future of our apprenticeship journey.

The Success Story: Callum’s Journey to Senior Leadership

Callum joined us as an apprentice many years ago, eager to learn the ropes of the warehouse and delivery world.

Today, Callum is an integral part of our senior team. As our Senior Warehouse Operative, Delivery Driver, and Removals Porter, he is often the face of Instant Home that our clients see on their doorstep. Callum’s journey shows that with the right attitude and a supportive environment, an apprenticeship isn’t just a foot in the door—it’s a ladder to leadership. His deep knowledge of our operations and his commitment to the “nothing is too much trouble” ethos makes him a true role model for everyone joining the team.

The Current Path: Charlie’s Growth and Success

Representing our current wave of talent is Charlie. Charlie is working towards his apprenticeship, balancing his studies with the daily operations of the Instant Home warehouse.

Apprenticeships are all about gaining tangible, real-world skills, and we are thrilled to share that he has recently completed his forklift course as part of his training! Gaining a forklift license is a huge step in professional development within our industry, and seeing Charlie apply these new skills to help our team work more efficiently is exactly what it’s all about.
