Julian Harniman☆☆☆☆☆Instant Furniture comes with my wholehearted recommendation for anyone looking to rent good furniture. We used them for an initial 6-month rental that we subsequently extended, and the standard of service throughout was genuinely impressive.
From start to finish, every touchpoint was handled with care:
• Delivery was punctual and carried out by a courteous, professional team who placed everything exactly where we asked, made up the beds, and even included thoughtful extras in the kitchen package — all at no extra charge.
• Mid-rental changes were handled seamlessly by Sue Hubbard, who accommodated our adjusted timeline without fuss and processed our refund promptly — no chasing required.
• Collection at the end of the rental was equally smooth — efficient, hassle-free, and exactly on schedule.
What stands out is that this wasn’t a one-off moment of good service — it was consistent at every stage. Instant Furniture genuinely sets the bar.

Unfortunately, due to a house fire, we needed to furnish a rental property and after speaking with Instant Home, we knew they were who we were going to use. They were so kind, helpful, understanding and flexible - and are a small, family run company. The furniture was delivered and put into each space effortlessly, and with such care. They even left a little welcome pack with some essentials – just so thoughtful. When they came to pick it all up again, the same care, efficiency and kindness was received. When the tumble drier stopped working, we had a replacement delivered 2 days later – the customer service was second to none. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Additionally, their values and ethos around community and charity, and their investment in their younger apprentices, speaks volumes. I hope I never have to use them again (in the kindest way!) but they were incredible during our time of need, and they made our rental house feel like a home.
