The furniture hire process explained
Where do I begin?
Visit the “Select Your Furniture” on our home page and select from either:
Packages – to view our Standard and Premium furniture, with full inventory for a 1-4 bedroom property
Ranges – great pictures of our stylish ranges complete with dimensions
Rooms – sometimes it’s easier to choose items you need room by room
Additional Items – we also offer smart TV’s, Nursery furniture, bed linens, microwaves and coffee machines and much more so it’s worth taking a browse
How much furniture do I have to order?
Select at least 8 furniture items (please note a dining room table and 6 chairs are counted as 1 item).
What is the minimum hire period?
You can hire the furniture for just a day or three years. Naturally the longer the hire period, the less your hire charge will be. Do note our minimum hire charge is £950.
What is the furniture Quality like?
Our quality furniture comes fully assembled (apart from wardrobes). We use the same furniture manufacturer as John Lewis so expect the same great quality.
We are passionate about hygiene and our mattresses. We fit encapsulator’s to each and every one prior to delivery.
The encapsulator simply slides on and zips up. It’s breathable, yet waterproof and provides a complete bed bug barrier. It’s just like having a brand new mattress.
Linens & Towels
These are available as a purchase option and therefore supplied brand new. Our helpful installation team will fit your linens to your beds as part of our service.
Cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, a bottle opener, tin opener are all included in our “can cook” Standard and Comprehensive Kitchen Packs.
Will you unpack the furniture?
All our furniture is delivered by our trained, dedicated and uniformed teams who will unpack each item and place it in the appropriate room. Just like a complete removal company service at a fraction of the cost.
Monthly Hire Payments
These are due on the 1st of each month, and paid via our convenient direct debit facility.
How long will the installation take?
For our two person delivery team, it takes around 2 hours to deliver, set up and clean our standard 2 bedroom furniture pack (guide based upon on-site parking and simple access).
How do I pay?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, including American Express (Payments made by credit card are subject to a 2% handling fee). One month rental payment, plus the delivery and collection charge is due prior to your order being delivered.
If the hire period is shorter than three months, all hire charges will be taken prior to delivery.
A furniture deposit is due on each furniture hire contract. This is fully refundable on collection of furniture which shows only normal wear and tear.
We provide a complimentary insurance policy which carries a £250 excess. Further details available on request.
Can I add to an order?
We can supply further items to you even if you have received your delivery. Email or call the office with your list and we will organise the rest.
What happens if an item is faulty?
In the unlikely event that one of our items is faulty, call or email our customer service department who will arrange the repair or replacement.
What happens at the end of the rental period?
Our office will contact you a month prior to the end of your hire contract to make collection arrangements. Or if you would like to continue with your existing hire arrangement we’ll extend it on a rolling month by month basis for as long as you like.
Is it possible to buy the furniture?
Following successful completion of a 24 month hire contract it may be possible to purchase certain furniture/accessory items, just drop us an email and we will be happy to advise you further.
I wish to cancel my Hire Contract early
We can arrange to collect the furniture before the expiry of your contract. All outstanding hire charges to the end of your contract must be settled prior to the collection date.
